Myroslav Stupar: "We will not have better judging"

Myroslav Stupar, a well-known referee in the past, commented to 1927.kiev.ua on the refereeing in the match of the 17th round of the Ukrainian championship between Dnipro-1 and Dynamo.

- The refereeing, as it is, will not be better. In general, Krivushkin did not make any "criminal" mistakes during the match. There were no difficult moments for the refereeing, but the referee failed to cope with the interpretation of Blanco's obvious flagrant violation on Buyalsky.

This is a simple episode that can be shown to new referees as an example of football hooliganism. Krivushkin was ten meters away and saw everything perfectly, but he made the wrong decision. This is violent behavior in front of the referee, not in the fight for the ball. Blanco just came up and hit Buyalsky on the legs. This is direct aggression and a red card that would be indicative for everyone. And so, the players will think: "One referee will give a red card, the other won't. We can continue to "kick" each other in the legs." Also, the referee on the VAR should have signaled that this episode deserved a red card.

After the whistle blew, Krivushkin gave someone a red card. Buyalsky was celebrating very emotionally, maybe he said something to the referee. It is difficult to comment on this episode. We will see what will be written in the protocol," the expert noted.
