Shakhtar's physical training coach Javier Lobo said in an interview with Tribuna.com that the team is ready for extra time in the Europa League match against Feyenoord.
"Training sessions cannot be long or very intense. I keep repeating this word - details. If we had the time, we would train for 70-80-90 minutes and work with the ball.
Now it is important for us to understand whether the players will have time to recover. From here we start and understand how much we can work on the field and in the gym, which exercises to do with the ball and which without it. We get a mix of what we need to do and what we have.
I hope that after 90 minutes of the match in Rotterdam everything will end in our favor, but if necessary, we are ready to fight for 120 minutes until the very end," Lobo said.
The Feyenoord vs Shakhtar match will start at 19.45. The first game ended in a 1-1 draw.
