In an exciting match between Sivasspor and Fiorentina in the UEFA Europa League, both teams showed their capabilities with a highly competitive game. The match, which took place at the Yeni Sivas 4 Eylul stadium, witnessed a terrific turnout from the fans of both teams. The first half started with Sivasspor replacing Harisis with Ulvestad in the 15th minute. However, the substitution had no effect on the score and the match remained scoreless for some time. The stalemate was broken in the 35th minute when Sivasspor's Esilurt scored a wonderful goal. The hosts were happy to take the lead but their luck was short-lived. 44 minutes into the match Fiorentina's Cabral leveled the score. In the second half Fiorentina took control of the game, scoring three more goals and giving Sivasspor almost no time to recover. In the 62nd minute, Milenkovic scored the first goal of the half, followed by several more notable developments. In the 63rd and 65th minutes, Sivasspor's Gutas and Fiorentina's Martinez Quarta received yellow cards.
There were also substitutions in the second half: in the 66th minute, Sivasspor brought on Caicedo and Kofi instead of N'Jiye and James. Fiorentina also made substitutions, releasing Igor in place of Martinez Kuart in the same time period. In the 75th minute, Sivasspor made two more substitutions: Palouli and Saiz came on instead of Yatabare and Gokay. However, things continued to go wrong for the hosts when Gutas scored an own goal in the 78th minute. Sivasspor's failure peaked when Arslan received a red card in the 81st minute. Castrovilli scored the last goal of the match in the 89th minute, bringing the score to four Fiorentina goals against Sivasspor's only goal. In conclusion, it was an exciting encounter between Sivasspor and Fiorentina, featuring some of the best talent in the game. Although Sivasspor had some bright moments, Fiorentina's firepower was too great to eventually crush. With a final score of 1-4 in favor of Fiorentina, they were the deserved winners of the match.
