Juventus responded with two substitutions, with F. Kostic replacing S. Ealing Jr. and F. Chiesa replacing D. Vlahovic. In the 74th minute, Freiburg made two more substitutions, replacing M. Gregoric with N. Petersen and K. Gunter with N. Weishaupt. Juventus's Illing Junior was yellow carded in the 82nd minute, and in the 84th minute the visiting team made two more substitutions: M. Locatelli and J. Cuadrado were replaced by E. Barrenechea and M. De Scillo. In the last minutes of the game, Freiburg players R. Sallai and K. Streich received yellow cards, and Juventus made the last substitution of the match, replacing M. Keane with M. Saul. The final nail in the coffin was scored by F. Chiesa, who scored in equal time to secure the victory for his team. Overall, it was a tough match for SC Freiburg, who struggled to keep up with Juventus' attacking abilities. Despite their best efforts, Juventus proved to be too strong and they came away with a 0-2 victory.
