Armenia's head coach Alexander Petrakov expressed his opinion about the upcoming Euro 2024 qualification match against Turkey.
"I am not in favor of the upcoming game being politicized. All the players playing abroad know their history well, and I know your history very well. But soccer should not be politicized. It should not affect the game in any way. The priority is the sport and the interest in it. I am not for politics. They are all experienced players who come from abroad. They didn't show up abroad of their own volition. Everyone knows their history," Radar.am quoted Petrakov as saying.
