Former Shakhtar Donetsk coach Paulo Fonseca, who now coaches the French Lille, said what he thinks about the move of his former team's midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk to Chelsea from London.
"Mudrik trained with us many times and went through pre-season training. But at that point he was still very young and inexperienced (When Fonseca came to Shakhtar, Mudryk was only 15, - editor's note).. During this time he has grown a lot. Now he is a different player and maybe a different person. He has become more responsible and I am very happy for him.
Mudrik's transfer to Chelsea? I think it happened because of Shakhtar's successful Champions League season. Mudrik played very well, he is a young talent, but still it was a bit of a surprise for everyone. Now it's an incredible chance for Mykhailo to play for a team like Chelsea", - said Fonseca.
