This week matches of the 18th matchday of the Ukrainian championship. On Saturday, March 18, Dynamo Kyiv and Luhansk Zoria met in one of them. The match took place in Kyiv at the Dynamo Stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskiy.

Both teams started the game cautiously, but both Dynamo and Zoria demonstrated their desire and readiness to attack when intercepting the ball. However, for a long time this did not lead to anything - defensive lines of both teams in this segment of the match looked flawless.

Up until the midway point of the first half the game was going in an even manner, with Zorya controlling the ball more frequently. However, later Dynamo managed to seize the initiative and shift the game to the visitors' half. However, Lucescu's charges, despite their advantage, had big problems in terms of creating danger in front of the Luhansk goal. Control of the ball, combinations, running, set-pieces - all of this was there, but it did not lead to scoring chances.

As a result, till the half time whistle neither Dynamo nor Zorya managed to create any dangerous episode. The only thing that should be mentioned is Antukh`s shot from 14 meters, after which the ball flew over the crossbar. And that's during the first half. Which ended quite logically with a score of 0-0.

But from the very first minutes of the second half the game was much more interesting. First, Sidorchuk struck an excellent shot from outside the penalty area, and the ball flew just half a meter from Zorya's goal post. And then the guests had two successive attacks. First, Antyukh bothered Nesheret with a difficult shot. And then Rusin shot into the Bilo-Syni goal from the goalmouth corner in one-on-one with the Dynamo goalkeeper, but the latter saved his team even in this situation by kicking the ball away.

At the 61st minute of the match Zoria was as close to the goal as possible: on another counterattack from Luhansk Antyukh broke into the penalty area on the right and skillfully shot into the far corner - Nesheret was not able to save the ball, and it almost hit the bar.

This moment, as it turned out, drew a line under the intense second half both for Dynamo and Zoria. Closer to the 70th minute the game calmed down and began to pass in the same vein in which it took place the entire first half: its main content were the endless fights and violations of the rules.

It seemed that everything was going to zero, however, in the 83rd minute of the match the goal still happened. "Zorya attacked on the right flank, Hlan' made quite a clear shot into the penalty area, none of the Dynamo players managed to catch the ball and it appeared on the opposite flank near the free Guerrero who sent it into the net - 0-1. As a result, the game ended with such a score.

After the played matches Dynamo still takes the fourth place in the standings of the Ukrainian championship, but now it is already four points behind the going third Zoria.

After the rest of matches of the current tour will be played, the championship of Ukraine will have a two-week break connected with the matches of the national teams. In the next 19th round Dynamo will play away with Lviv. The match will take place on Sunday, April 2 (kickoff is at 13:00).
