Roma head coach Jose Mourinho got into a verbal altercation with club president Claudio Lotito after yesterday's Rome derby with Lazio (0-1) in the 27th round of the Italian championship. The incident occurred in the dressing room, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.
According to the source, the conflict began with a clash between the two players. Lazio defender Alessio Romagnoli decided to celebrate the victory of his team in front of the Roma dressing room. Roma defender Gianluca Mancini gave in to this provocation and called Romagnoli a "piece of shit".
The players clashed and Lotito tried to separate them. Mourinho was there too, and he showed his anger by telling the Lazio president: "What are you looking at? Who are you?".
The Lazio boss wasn't confused in this situation and responded to the Portuguese. "I am the president of Lazio, but who are you? I'm in my house, and you shouldn't be here!"
The whole situation was painfully reminiscent of the classic "showdown" between Panikovsky and Balaganov in Golden Calf:
Жаль, что ни Моуринье, ни босс Лацио не читали Ильфа и Петрова "Золотой телёнок"!
