"I don't even want to call the name of that state. I just say: 'terrorist country'. And I don't want to talk about that person at all. I'm grateful to Ufa for everything they did for me, but since the terrorists invaded, I don't want to have any memories of that time. Honestly, I don't want to hear anything about that country. Because because of them, because of their bombs every day Ukrainians die. There is no person in Ukraine who has not lost something. This war touched all of us, and since then our consciousness has completely changed. Unfortunately, we are already used to it. But we have not lost hope that everything will be all right in the near future.

I would like to say a huge thank you to our Ukrainian army for this opportunity, that we can still play soccer, still play for Ukraine. To represent our country. Of course, everyone understands the pressure. We use every opportunity we have to play to fight for our country. We all understand the responsibility.

It's hard, but without the support of Britain, I can't even imagine what it would be," Zinchenko told the Daily Mail.
