Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani of Athar has made a new offer to the Glazer brothers to buy Manchester United, Sportico reports.
Al-Thani's offer amounts to £6 billion. It was previously thought that the Glazers wanted to sell the club for $6 billion.
The Raine Group, the investment company overseeing the sale of Manchester United, declined to comment.
