The debut of the former coach of the Ukraine national team Oleksandr Petrakov as the head coach of Armenia was controversial.
Yesterday, the Armenian national team played its first game under the Ukrainian coach against Turkey within the framework of Euro-2024 qualifying. Petrakov's team lost this game, which was Armenia's home game, 1:2, although he opened the scoring already in the 10th minute of the game.
Petrakov's post-match press-conference was memorable for his attack on one of the journalists, who asked Petrakov an absolutely harmless question about whether the substitutions were too late. The reply of the coach can actually be considered as a rude: "What are you, the coach? Do you have a license? If so, you can apply for the position of the head coach of the Armenian national team, you will coach and not be late with substitutions".
In addition, Petrakov made it clear that he is ready for his retirement at any time: "I am a coach. My suitcase is always packed and always standing in the corner".

Есть главный тренер, он чувствует ритм игры. Если с ним не согласен, стань тренером, возглавь сборную.
Это при том, что лично я к новой должности Петракова отношусь отрицательно. И поделом ему, должен был думать, куда идет.
