Slovakia and Bosnia and Herzegovina met in a European Championship qualifying match at Stadion Tehelne. Slovakia won 2-0 at halftime and 2-0 in regulation time. The match started with Slovakia taking an immediate lead, with R. Mack scoring the first goal in the 13th minute. Bosnia and Herzegovina tried to get back into the game, but failed to score. The second goal of the match was scored by Slovakia - L. Haraslin in 40th minute. At halftime the score was 2-0 in favor of Slovakia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina needed to develop a game plan to turn the situation around. In the second half there were some changes in the lineup, and in the 46th minute Bosnia and Herzegovina made the first substitution. H. Milicevic came on instead of G. Chimirota, but it didn't seem to change the situation in the team.
On 58 minutes Slovakia made the first substitution in the match: T. Suslov came instead of R. Maka. Bosnia and Herzegovina made two more substitutions in the 63rd minute: S. Prevljak replaced E. Dzeko and A. Hadziohmetovic came on instead of S. Prcic. However, Slovakia also made two substitutions in the 69th minute: O. Duda replaced L. Beneš and R. Polijevka came on instead of A. Zrelak. Bosnia and Herzegovina made one last substitution towards the end of the match: B. Tahirovic replaced M. Stevanovic in the 74th minute. Slovakia also made two substitutions in the 90th minute: S. Lobotka was replaced by P. Hrosovski and L. Haraslin was replaced by M. Bero. Despite all efforts Bosnia and Herzegovina could not score a single goal and the match ended 2-0 in favor of Slovakia. It was a close game between the two teams, with Slovakia coming out on top.
