Ivan Nadein, a resident of Veres Rivne, commented on the team's recent failures in the UPL. After 18 rounds of the league, Veres slipped to 12th place in the standings.
"I do not make a tragedy out of the current results. Yes, it is unpleasant. Yes, it's not what I, the fans, coaches and the players expected. But defeats are part of football and, unfortunately, we are experiencing them now. We can call it a black streak. But this is also an experience that we have to live through and learn how to get out of such a situation, not get stuck in it.
Do you trust the team's head coach Yuriy Virta? This is the coach with whom we went through the first league, then won gold medals and a ticket to the UPL. I think the first season in the elite division was also successful. And if you count, the team has gone through a certain cycle A successful three-year cycle. And after that, there was a decline.
Lobanovskyi's Dynamo, Mourinho's Chelsea, Ancelotti's AC Milan, Lucescu's Shakhtar and Rebrov's Dynamo all went through similar cycles... Of course, the scale is not the same, but Veres is going through the same thing with Wirth. Therefore, there is still a margin of confidence in the head coach.
Moreover, I don't see a crisis in the game, I see a crisis in the result. We were often unlucky, especially in the matches against Vorskla and Dnipro-1. In general, this season there were no failed matches to be ashamed of. We fought against Dynamo, we were not inferior to Oleksandriya, and we were close to winning against Zorya. And most importantly, there is no crisis within the team. The players come out and play their best for the full 90 minutes. It is encouraging. The team attacks, creates, but the only thing is that they don't realize it yet... I believe that the guys will break through, as they say, and it will happen in the next match against Kryvbas.
This championship is very interesting and tight. There are only ten points between the relegation zone and the fifth position. Therefore, the main thing is for Veres players to believe in themselves as much as I believe in them," Nadein said.
