Ukrainian commentator Serhiy Saveliy talks about his conversation with former Dynamo head coach Valeriy Lobanovsky.
"I remember the conversation after the Arsenal-Dynamo match. Unfortunately, that flash interview was not aired. For a long time, the broadcast team in London showed a bunch of technical footage. Then they interviewed the hosts, and then Valeriy Lobanovsky was supposed to go on, but the program director in Kyiv could not stand it and walked off the air. That's why my interview with Lobanovsky was broadcast on satellites.
Valeriy came up to me and said: "You asked me how we managed to save the match and achieve a draw. I have to tell you that we equalized, but Arsenal managed to save the match. Because we were kicking their butts on the Wembley pitch during the match, so they escaped defeat. We were stronger here."
I remember this because his words turned out to be prophetic. He realized Dynamo's strength even then, because he said that this game would be the impetus for the best matches in the group stage. He predicted it because Dynamo had only two points from three matches, and then Dynamo won all three matches and came out on top with 11 points in the group," said Savelii.

Вспоминаю разговор после матча «Арсенал „Арсенал“ — „Динамо“. К сожалению, то флешинтервью не пошло в эфир.(с)
Судячи зі всього, ТА розмова мала бути в ефірі.
