Barcelona have informed the Royal Spanish Football Federation that the Catalan club will not play home matches at Camp Nou next season.
According to Cope, the Camp Nou will be refurbished, so Barcelona will start the 2023/2024 season at the Montjuïc Stadium, which can accommodate 55,926 spectators.
In turn, the reconstruction of the Camp Nou will cost the Catalan club 1.5 billion euros. It is expected that Barcelona plans to return to the legendary stadium no earlier than autumn 2024.
