In the rest of the first half, both teams stubbornly fought for the advantage, and Shakhtar Donetsk managed to score the second goal in the 18th minute thanks to G. Gokholeishvili.
However, Chornomorets did not stop, continuing to move forward and eventually equalized the score in the 40th minute thanks to V. Salyuk. In the second half there were tense fights, both teams played at a high level.
