Football fans from all over the world witnessed an exciting Ligue 1 match between Nantes and Reims at the Stade de la Beaujoire-Louis Fontenot. In the long-awaited match, Reims won with a comfortable score of 3:0. In the first half of the match, Reims looked to dominate the game and gain an early lead. In the 17th minute, Reims earned a yellow card with J. Cajust. The game escalated as it approached the half hour mark and A. Flips from Reims was able to score in the 38th minute. Nantes could not recover from this as Reims scored their second goal a minute later, again from A. Flips. With a 2-0 start to the second half, Nantes hoped to regroup and push hard to get back into the game. At the 46th minute, P. Chirivella from Nantes was replaced by S. Mutoussami. However, the struggle of "Nantes" continued, because in the 49th minute they received a yellow card from A. Girotto. In the 58th minute, Reims was able to score their third goal in the game with M. Munetsi.
Nantes then made several substitutions to try and turn the game around. At the 60th minute, M.Sissoko replaced Mostafa Mohamed, A.Girotto replaced F.Centonze, and M.Simon replaced I.Ganago. However, these changes did not bring immediate results as Nantes could not find the back of the goal. Reims also made several substitutions in the second half of the game: A. Flips gave way to A. Zeneli in the 65th minute, and J. Cajust was replaced by C. Doumbia a minute later. In the 77th minute, Nantes made the last substitution, instead of M. Coco came A. Delors. Reims also made two more substitutions in the 78th minute: H. Ito and F. Balogun were replaced by M. Maolida and M. van Bergen, respectively. However, by then the game was effectively over. The match ended 3-0 in favor of Reims. It was an outstanding performance from the away side as they showed superb football skills throughout the game, completely surpassing Nantes. The fans were delighted with the level of football shown in this match, which showcased the best of Ligue 1.
