Ukraine, one year after Roman Abramovich's sale of Chelsea, has yet to receive $2.9 billion. This is reported by Bloomberg.
According to the source, the money from the sale of Chelsea, which should go to charity, is now frozen in accounts in Britain. Bureaucratic issues are preventing the funds from reaching the accounts of the humanitarian fund and starting to work to help Ukraine.
It is not yet reported when this problem will be solved.
Recall that Abramovich was forced to sell Chelsea after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
