Boye in the 50th minute could have completely changed the game, but it didn't happen.
Osasuna continued to pile on the pressure and it finally paid off in the 71st minute when A. Ezzalzuli put the score level. This spurred the home side on and they continued to dominate the game. Their persistence paid off in the 84th minute when A. Ezzalsuli scored his second goal of the match, giving Osasuna the victory. Elche tried to get back on track, but their efforts proved too feeble and belated. Overall, it was a tense match in which both teams gave it their all. Osasuna, however, won, much to the delight of their fans. It showed us the level of talent in La Liga and that anything can happen in this exciting league.
