Several yellow cards were issued during the match, with Manchester City's John Stones and Erling Haaland receiving them in the 36th and 56th minutes respectively. Both teams also made several substitutions, with Bernardo Silva replacing Mahrez and Kyle Walker replacing Stones for Manchester City.
