On April 4, and then again on April 6, the UAF president under investigation, Andriy Pavelko, did not appear in the Kyiv Court of Appeal to consider an appeal against his removal from the post of president of the Ukrainian Football Association until May 13, 2023.
According to his lawyer, the official was ill with covid and therefore could not participate in the court hearing. Moreover, during the hearing, the judge clarified that the PST test was taken on April 3, i.e. 6 days ago. The journalists assumed that all this was done in order to be re-elected to the UEFA Executive Committee on April 5, which is exactly what happened.
However, on April 8, the "divine healing" took place. Otherwise, it is difficult to explain how Pavelko, who was sick with covid on April 4, found himself in a restaurant in the Olympic Village in Kyiv on April 8 with his vice presidents, as can be seen in the photos above.
Now a logical question arises: did Andriy Vasylovych deceive the court and lie about his illness or did he really magically recover in 4 days? And will the official be punished if his illness turns out to be a fiction?
