Review of the match Betis - Cadiz:

In the long-awaited La Liga match, Real Betis met Cadiz at the Benito Villamarin stadium. The first half of the game was held in a tense struggle, none of the teams managed to get out of the impasse. However, a number of events occurred in the second half that ultimately decided the outcome of the match. At the 22nd minute, Real Betis decided to make the first substitution, having released G. Pezzella instead of E. Gonzalez. The match continued in a tense struggle, but in the 38th minute it was Real Betis who were in the minority when S. Canales received a red card, leaving his team with ten men on the field. Cadiz tried to exploit this advantage and started putting more pressure on the Real Betis defence. In the 43rd minute, F. San Emeterio received a yellow card, and a minute later, A. Perez from Real Betis was sent off. The tension between the two teams became evident when another Cadiz player, R. Sobrino, received a yellow card at half-time. As the teams returned for the second half, Real Betis made another substitution, replacing B. Iglesias with Luis Enrique. However, their troubles continued: V. Carvalho and J. Miranda received yellow cards in a row in the 51st and 52nd minutes, respectively.

Cadiz finally found the breakthrough they had been waiting for in the 53rd minute when a penalty was awarded. R. Alcaraz calmly converted the penalty, putting his team ahead. Real Betis tried to bounce back and soon made a third substitution of the match, replacing Rodri with Juanmi. However, their hopes of salvaging something in this game were further shattered in the 59th minute when S. Ramos scored a goal to widen Cadiz' lead. The situation got worse and worse for Real Betis when A. Ruibal received a red card in the 60th minute, leaving only nine people on the field. Cadiz brought in three fresh pairs of legs, replacing I. Alejo, J. Mere and A. Fernandez with R. Sobrino, Fali and F. San Emeterio. Real Betis made two quick substitutions: Joaquín came on for V. Carvalho and Abner replaced J. Miranda in the 65th minute. However, Cadiz had the last word in the match: R. Marti replaced K. Ramos in the 82nd minute, and S. Guardiola replaced A. Negredo in the 90th minute. When the final whistle blew, it was Cadiz who emerged victorious, beating Real Betis 2-0. The match was filled with drama, with both teams showing an energetic performance despite the various setbacks they faced throughout the match.
