“According to my information, Chervak is now thinking whether to appeal to him or not. While he is looking for an answer to the question, is it even possible that in this situation they can reduce his sentence," Zverov said.
The journalist also recalled the 2016 Ukrainian Cup match, when Dnipro players Ruslan Rotan and Roman Zozulya, after the final whistle, attacked Anatoly Abdulla, the chief referee of the match. Those actions of the players did not look like a single outburst of emotions, as it was in the situation with Chervak and Cause, but had the context of a conscious physical impact on the referee.
