A very unusual incident occurred in the match of the 33rd round of the Belgian championship between Standard and Charleroi (3-1). Fans of the visiting team threw dead rats... dead rats.
The dead animals were smeared with the colors of Standard's club colors - in white and red.
A total of about a dozen dead rodents were found in the Standard's fans' sector. And the Charleroi fans themselves were dressed in white suits and balaclavas and positioned themselves as pest controllers.
