Jozsef Sabo, the former head coach of Kyiv Dynamo and the Ukrainian national team, said what he thinks about the prospects of Chelsea's Ukrainian midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk in the APL.
- Mudryk was only bought because of his crazy speed. Let's hope he will play. But it's different soccer in England where they just don't let him take the ball and if he does, two other players come in and make sure he doesn't get any space. That's it - no Mudrik!
With Brighton, he played a full game for the first time, gave a successful pass, but for the most part he does not show anything. I hope he will get used to the APL, understand how to play, move, open up and behave on the field.
I must admit Mudrik has no individual qualities, like Manchester City flank midfielders. They get the ball right away and go around, thanks to their technique. Mudrik doesn't have that technique and he's not given space, so he's not doing well at Chelsea," Sabo said.
