Paratici received a 30-month suspension in January, in the same sports court that handed down a 15-point fine to Juventus. After that, FIFA extended the 50-year-old's ban to cover the entire world. Therefore, the former Bianconeri sporting director was forced to temporarily resign, pending an appeal hearing at the Guarantee Board of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

On Thursday, the CONI court ruled that Juventus must return its 15 points before a new trial by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), but Paratici's appeal was rejected. Thus, the Italian left his position at the London club for good.

It will be recalled that Paratici spent 11 years at Juventus and was responsible for the Old Lady's transfers during the period investigated by the Turin public prosecutor and the FIGC. In the summer of 2021, he signed a contract with Tottenham.
