"Dynamo" actively started the match, with the starting whistle they transferred the game to Shakhtar`s half of the field, but the guests managed not only to drive away the rival rather quickly due to active, aggressive pressing, but also to noticeably improve control over the ball. And on 12 minutes, the Pitmen opened the scoring: an absolutely dangerous Stepanenko's shot from 30 meters caught Nesheret off guard, and the ball flew into the bottom corner of the Dynamo net - 0-1.

Subsequently, the game was equally balanced, but Shakhtar focused more on defense, which led to the fact that Dynamo controlled the ball more often. However, this did not lead to dangerous chances for the visitors. But Shakhtar had a chance to build on their success - Konoplya, 34 minutes into the game, made a comfortable header from 12 meters after a cross from the flank, and the ball flew just outside the post. However, in the end of the first half Dinamo was very close to the goal: Benito received a pass on the right flank, outplayed the opponents, burst into the penalty area and shot from 14 meters - the ball hit Rakitskiy (and in the hand, but the referee did not react to it), bounced to the far bar, where Voloshin managed to hit from the goalmouth corner, but Shakhtar was saved by the reaction Trubin - he managed to cover the ball.

Both teams started the second half equally enthusiastic. The game was almost back-and-forth, with the ball residing in the middle of the pitch. The Pitmen created their first scoring chance after the break - Sudakov`s low shot from 25 meters, the ball flew just inches from the bar. That episode, despite the attacking zeal of both Dynamo and Shakhtar, for a long time was the only real scoring chance of the second half. As for the rest, both teams could boast only preconditions to create intensity. However, on 82 minutes, there was not just a goal-scoring chance, but also a goal - Andrievskyy masterfully converted a free-kick awarded 20 meters from Shakhtar's goal, the ball skirting the wall, hitting the crossbar and bouncing off it into the net - 1-1. Needless to say, both Dynamo and Shakhtar tried to snatch a win in the closing stages of the match, but failed to get anything going in the remaining time.

After the played matches Dynamo still takes the fourth place in the standings of the Ukrainian championship, falling behind the going third Dnipro 1 on four points, but Dnipro, in this case, have two matches in reserve.
