Viacheslav Zakhovailo: "The teams played in diapers. Jovicevic was afraid of Lucescu, Lucescu was afraid of himself"

Vyacheslav Zakhovailo, a well-known manager and expert, evaluated Dynamo's 1-1 match with Shakhtar for 1927.kiev.ua.

Viacheslav Zakhovailo

- Very weak football from both sides. Both coaches tried to portray something in tactical terms. It all comes down to the fact that there were many individual mistakes that took their toll. Neshcheret "gave a froth" - a young goalkeeper will not become a goalkeeper until he misses his "froth". At this age, you have to try to be at the heart of Dynamo's defense. At both Shakhtar and Dynamo, 60-70% of the players do not match the club's brand. The coach is one of them.

- Most experts and bookmakers considered Shakhtar to be the favorites. - What went wrong?

- The force of action is equal to the force of opposition. The teams played tactically "in diapers". The coaches depicted a tactical duel that did not exist. There was football without handwriting, without style, without gates, without anything. Jovicevic was afraid of Lucescu, and Lucescu was afraid of himself. It's good that there were no spectators in the stands - it's boring to watch such football. Football is about results and shows. Neither team had any skill.

- Can you single out anyone in the Dynamo team?

- With such a game, it's hard to single out anyone. There are no individually bright players in the UPL at all. There are not and cannot be in the conditions in which Ukraine is. The classic, the derby has individually strong players. Specialists have to bring up strong players, and with the players bought, ready-made, a journalist can be a coach.

- Can Andrievsky be recognized for his goal? The commentators emphasized that he could score from such a point...

- He scored, well done, but, as they say: once a year, the stick fires. As for the commentators, I turned off the sound at the fifth minute. They are good guys, they tried. My ears could not stand their competence. If you are a commentator, you have to know football at the level of a coach. For experts, what they say is "bullshit". They have turned into "likes" and populist YouTube showdowns. They can't be compared to commentators from the top leagues: we watched one kind of football, and the eccentrics watched another. I have nothing against them, I don't want to offend anyone, I'm speaking as a spectator, a fan. Commentators should comment on the game. If you don't know anything about football, let it be a radio report, but when you are constantly instructing players and coaches throughout the match, it looks like a comedy. If only they would say something football-related instead of comments not equal to the Actor team that was in Kyiv. Musicians gathered and played "dir-dir". That's the level. You need to learn, there are schools in Ukraine, but in the end you have to turn off the sound. We have to do what we have.

- Do you have any questions about the refereeing?

- If we talk about the moment with Rakytskyi, it can be viewed differently from each side. It's obvious to us, obvious to the referee. It's easier for referees to judge in the HL, but even their decisions in the UPL can be very controversial. Not because they are inventing something, but because they don't know how. Even on video from different angles, an episode can look different.

In the first half, Stepanenko drove into Buyalsky with his arm, there was contact with his leg. We are attacking the referee, but it was not obvious to him from his position. I wish the referee to always be in the right position.

- Shovkovskyi has been appointed acting head coach. How do you assess his prospects?

- Oleksandr must have his own handwriting. It will be very difficult for him now. Rebrov also started out as an assistant, but he has a style, which is expensive. Shevchenko also has his own style. I hope that Sasha will also have his own style and understanding of football. I wish him psychological strength, I want to support him in this situation and give him enough time to convey his vision to the players so that they can realize it. "Dynamo should give Shovkovskyi time, at least until the end of the season he should work.

I want to wish Lucescu good health, and the club's management should scratch the back of their heads and think about how to further develop the club and bring in a specialist who fits the Dynamo Kyiv brand. And the players of Dynamo and Shakhtar need to look in the mirror before saying that they are fine. I read that someone is constantly being sold somewhere - there are a lot of such players in Europe. I wanted to enjoy this game, but I got the championship of a bathhouse. If I were the presidents of Dynamo and Shakhtar, I would have fined the players of both teams for this game. Whatever happened, two brands played and they have to live up to them.
