Bayern Munich defender Alfonso Davies was injured in the match of the 29th round of the German championship against Mainz (1-3).
According to Bild, after undergoing a medical examination, the 22-year-old was diagnosed with a hamstring injury, which will cause him to miss about six weeks. Thus, Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel will not be able to count on the Canadian player until the end of the current season.
Davies has played 38 matches in all competitions this season, scoring three goals and providing eight assists.
