Artem Frankov: "Mudryk has no chance at all at the current Chelsea

Renowned journalist Artem Frankov has revealed what he thinks about the prospects of Chelsea's Ukrainian midfielder Mykhaylo Mudryk in London.

"At the current Chelsea, Mudryk does not have the slightest chance as he needs to break through to the death. In my opinion, Mykhailo does not have enough potential to sprout through the pavement and prove that he is the best. He can be helped by a certain set of circumstances and tactics that allow him to fulfil himself in the best possible way.

I remain a supporter that the purchase of Mudrick was a political exercise and a way to rub the noses of his Arsenal neighbours.

The best I've seen of Mudrick's performance at Chelsea was in the opening game against Liverpool (0-0) when he put Mr Milner superbly on his arse, so had to bring in Alexander-Arnold urgently.

At Lampard, he looked good against Brighton. At least he was active but, again, Chelsea are a lousy team. It is very difficult to prove yourself in a team which is on the losing line. I did not notice his particular affection for internationals. How seriously does he take Mudrik. I have always been sceptical about it," Frankov said.
