In the 76th minute, Getafe received a yellow card and J. Iglesias was cautioned. Almeria then made two more substitutions in the 81st minute, replacing Leo Baptistao and A. Pozo with Kaiki and L. Ramazani. In the last few minutes of the game, Almeria made one last substitution: L. Robertone came on instead of S. Costa in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Almeria received a late yellow card - F. Martinez was cautioned. Getafe made one last substitution in the 90th minute: Porto replaced J. Mata. Despite Getafe's valiant efforts, Almeria held on to take a 2-1 win over the hosts. It was an entertaining match, with the supporters having a lot of fun. Both teams played heartily, but it was Almeria who clinched the win.
