Chelsea FC in London lost to Brentford (0-2) in the 33rd round of the FA Championship yesterday and have lost their chances of qualifying for next season's Champions League.
Now the Blues sit 11th in the APL table, 20 points adrift of the Champions League zone. Furthermore, they have six games left to play in the English league. Thus, Chelsea will not be able to pick up more than 18 points.
In this case, the Londoners have only a slim chance of qualifying for the Europa League - 15 points behind Chelsea from the position that gives the right to participate in this European tournament.
