As well as taking an important step towards defending their English league title, the convincing 4-1 victory over Arsenal was an anniversary for Manchester City coach Josep Guardiola.
The Catalan began his career in 2008 at the helm of Barcelona. By 2012, when he left Camp Nou, Guardiola had won 179 games in all competitions. From 2013 to 2016, Pep led Bayern to 124 victories.
The victory over Arsenal was his 297th with the Citizens, taking him to the milestone of 600 games won in a coaching career that is far from over.
