"Edegor and Zinchenko are great professionals. However, were they leaders at an important time? The young players needed leadership. In fact, they contributed to the difficulties the team faced.

Jaka against Liverpool (2-2), Partey's play in recent games, Zinchenko also conceding a goal against the Reds and possibly against West Ham (2-2). For Edegor, the most difficult encounter was with Man City (1-4). In the match against Southampton (3-3), Zinchenko started to gather the team in a circle and Edegor said: "Disperse."

Those four players, who are the leaders in this team, failed to rally the young players at the necessary moment, to keep them calm and collected. This has been obvious to me in the last few weeks," the expert said in a commentary to The Overlap.
