German Premier League, round 30.
RB Le ipzig (Germany ) v Hoffenheim (Germany) - 1-0 (1-0)
Goal: Nkunku (28)

RB Leipzig held off a determined onslaught from 1899 Hoffenheim to win 1-0 in their last Bundesliga match at the Red Bull Arena. The hosts dominated early in the match and were rewarded for their efforts when midfield sensation Christopher Nkunku scored in the 28th minute to put RB Leipzig ahead. Hoffenheim tried to respond immediately, but they were held back by RB Leipzig's resolute defence. The first half ended 1-0 in favour of RB Leipzig, and both teams went into the second half determined to find a breakthrough. At the start of the second half, the visitors made a substitution with S. Nsoki replacing Angelino. However, this change did not affect RB Leipzig, who continued to play with the same intensity as before. The hosts then made three quick substitutions: E. Forsberg, D. Raum and J. Guardiola replaced Andre Silva, M. Halstenberg and A. Diallo in the 59th minute. A minute later, RB Leipzig's hero of the night Nkunku was replaced by D. Olmo in the fourth substitution of the game.
Hoffenheim also made two quick substitutions: in the 61st minute, G. Promel and S. Rudi were replaced by K. Baumgartner and D. Geiger. However, Hoffenheim's chances of a return match were undermined by a yellow card received by Rudi in the 62nd minute. RB Leipzig continued to push forward, but Hoffenheim's defence remained unshaken. Both sides made substitutions: P. Kaderabek replaced R. Skov for Hoffenheim and M. Simakan replaced B. Henrihs for RB Leipzig in the 81st minute. In the final minutes of the game, Hoffenheim's K. Akpoguma was sent off for an untimely attack on an RB Leipzig player. Despite their best efforts, Hoffenheim failed to equalize, and RB Leipzig clinched a deserved 1-0 victory in front of their fans at the Red Bull Arena. Overall, it was a tense game in which both teams performed strongly. However, an early goal and a solid RB Leipzig defence were enough to overcome the finish line and keep their hopes of making it into the top four in the Bundesliga.
In the next round, Freiburg v RB Leipzig and Hoffenheim v Eintracht are expected to face each other.
