Brentford and Nottingham Forest met in a Premier League match at the Gtech Community Stadium, with both sides hoping for a win. Nottingham Forest took the lead in the first half with Danilo scoring just before the break. In the second half, Brentford took the field with renewed vigour and made several tactical substitutions. The changes seemed to have paid off as Brentford managed to equalise in the 82nd minute thanks to Ivan Toni's goal. Just a few minutes later, Brentford scored again from Josh Dasilva, securing the win for the home side. The match was not without its tense moments and yellow cards. In the first half, Brentford's R Henry and Nottingham Forest's Felipe were awarded yellow cards.
In the second half, A. Ayew of Nottingham Forest also received a yellow card. Both teams made several substitutions during the game to try and turn the tide in their favour. In the 54th minute, Nottingham Forest fielded T. Avoniyi in place of A. Ayew and in the 60th minute, Brentford made two substitutions in a row, fielding M. Damsgaard in place of J. Dasilva and R. Henry in place of J. Wyss. M. Jensen and W. Janelt were substituted in the 71st minute and K. Schade came on in place of S. Goddos in the 77th minute. Nottingham Forest also made a substitution in the 81st minute, substituting O. Mangala in place of R. Yates. As a result, Brentford's tactical changes were successful and they turned the tide of the match with a 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest. This victory will undoubtedly give Brentford and their fans confidence to continue their Premier League campaign.
