Mikolenko has avoided being named on Everton's list of players for a significant wage cut

The Telegraph reports that Everton, whose colours are defended by former Dynamo Kyiv defender Vitaliy Mykolenko, is preparing a significant reduction in the salary fund of the club's players if the team fails to retain its place in the AFL at the end of the season.

According to a source, the management of the "toffees" formed a list of players who in the case of the departure of "Everton" in Championships (the second ranked English division) will earn significantly less. The list includes those players who have joined Everton since last summer.

Thus, Mykolenko should not fear for his financial situation at Everton: the Ukrainian moved to the English club at the beginning of 2022.

It should be added that five rounds before the end of the championship of England "Everton" is in the "relegation zone", occupying the penultimate, 19th place in the championship standings. However, the Toffees are just two points adrift of 17th place with a game to spare.

Очень хочется, чтобы "Эвертон" избежал "включения" в Чемпионшип.
