Paris Saint-Germain face Lorient in a thrilling Ligue 1 match at the Parc de Prince. The scoreline was 1-2 in favour of Lorient at half-time and the final score was 1-3, showing Lorient's superiority over the Parisian giants. Paris Saint-Germain's Ahraf Hakimi received a yellow card within the first five minutes of the game and the pressure resulted in Lorient scoring in the 15th minute, with Enzo Le Feu scoring. The Parisians were dealt another blow when Hakimi received a red card in the 20th minute, leaving the team with ten men. Despite the setback, Paris Saint-Germain managed to score in the 29th minute thanks to an impressive strike from Kylian Mbappe. Lorient responded with Denis Jongwa's goal in the 39th minute, ending the first half in their favour.
The second half saw several substitutions as Paris Saint-Germain brought on Colin Soler and Juan Bernat, while Lorient had Armand Kari, Ibrahima Koné and Gaspar Kaloulou. There were also a number of yellow cards in the second half with Paris Saint-Germain's Marchinho and Marco Verratti and Innocent Bonquet, Enzo Le Feu and Bayo Dieng of Lorient. Paris Saint-Germain's attempts to equalise proved futile, and the goal which was cancelled out against Lorient in the 86th minute due to offside was soon forgotten as Bayo Dieng scored in the 89th minute, sealing the win for Lorient. Despite Paris Saint-Germain playing with ten men for most of the game, Lorient put up a decent fight, but in the end Lorient managed to take all three points. It was an exciting match for fans and neutrals alike, with both teams showing great skill and perseverance.
