Dynamo Kyiv winger Giorgi Tsitaishvili, who is playing on loan for Polish side Lech this season, has commented on his future.
- Georgiy, do you currently keep in touch with Dynamo's management regarding your return to the club?
- I haven't spoken to anyone in depth yet. I think it doesn't make much sense, because the Polish league, like the Ukrainian league, is still ongoing. If Dynamo needs me, they will contact me during the transfer window.
- Can you extend your stay at Lech for the next season?
- I have no plans to stay here. The club does not have any option to buy out my contract or extend my lease. I know that Lech's management made a request to Dynamo about the possibility of a buyout, but the parties failed to reach an agreement. Apparently, they did not agree on the terms. So the question of my further stay here is not relevant.
- Do other teams show interest in you?
- Yes, there is interest. I am talking, but it is too early to say anything. We will have more specifics in the summer.
- Where do you see yourself in the future?
- I want to play football. I will choose the offer that will meet this desire. I understand that no coach can guarantee me playing time. However, I need to understand that they are at least counting on me. That's the option I'll take.
