- We played our best game in the first half. The first half was surprisingly good. We conceded a goal, but that was the first time we were careless in defence.

The problem is that Tottenham did not rebuild at all. They continued to counterattack, even when they were 3-1 down. They just defended, counterattacked and looked for set pieces, which makes the game difficult.

We managed to barely get our feet under us thanks to Diogo Jota's goal. It makes the game exciting and everyone goes home in a stormy state, but I'm the team coach, so I have to take into account all the other aspects of the game. We have to play better in three days' time," said Jürgen Klopp.
