Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola commented on the new achievement of Norwegian forward Erling Holland. The young striker has scored 50 goals in a season in all competitions - the last time Tom Waring reached this milestone was 92 years ago (1930/1931 season).
"I know that even Winston Churchill was not Prime Minister when the record was set, which was repeated by Erling. It was a long time ago. I was amazed that he volunteered to take the penalty," Guardiola was quoted as saying by The Guardian.
