At the end of the first half of yesterday's 2-2 draw between Leicester and Everton, the visitors' captain Seamus Coleman was seriously injured. In one of the episodes, Leicester midfielder Boubacarie Soumaré slammed into him.

As a result, Coleman managed to leave the pitch on a stretcher.

On the possible nature of the injury suffered by the Everton captain, sports doctor Dmytro Babeliuk spoke out.

"As we can see, a pathological valgus deviation of the knee is noticeable. Possibly the medial collateral ligament and the anterior cruciate ligament are torn. The medial meniscus is probably also damaged.

There is hope that at least there will be no fractures, but even without that the surgeons will have enough work with the knee. Given the age of the player (34), this injury is likely to end his career," Babeljuk wrote in his Telegram channel.

Це недобре для гравця і для команди :-( Коулмену одужання, а "Евертону" стійкості.
