The home team actively entered the game and were the first to create potentially dangerous moments.
In the 7th minute, Tuzenko broke into the penalty area with the ball and ran along the goalkeeper's line, but Dynamo defenders prevented him from striking. But a minute later, Denys Ihnatenko had to actively enter the game. And a few minutes later, the Dynamo goalkeeper successfully played on the way out of the penalty area, interrupting a potential goal by the Poltava forward.
However, in the 14th minute, Vorskla still translated its starting activity and game advantage into a goal. After a vertical pass, Chernysh scored from the right corner of the penalty area and hit the far corner of the goal.
After conceding a goal, the White and Blues finally stepped up their offense. Naveen Malysh broke through on the flank, but only earned a corner kick. Samba Diallo tried to shoot from the fly, but it was too weak and easy for the goalkeeper.
Instead, dangerous moments continued to be created near Dynamo's goal. Kyiv's Tuzenko, who went out on a date with Ihnatenko, calmly sent the ball into the corner of the goal, but the Dynamo goalie saved the ball.
Two minutes later, however, Poltava scored for the second time. After a set piece from the right flank of the attack, Artem Serdyuk was unopposed to shoot Ihnatenko's goal from almost the goal line.
In the middle of the half, Dynamo's Salenko created a chance near the other side's goal when he intercepted the ball in Vorskla's penalty area, but Roman's pass to the center was inaccurate.
The home team, in turn, continued not only to create scoring opportunities but also to realize them. In the 28th minute, Poltava made an exemplary attack with the ball being transferred from the right flank to the left, and Tuzenko finished the attack at the far post, who had to shoot the goal from close range.
Without waiting for the break, Ihor Kostyuk made his first substitution in the 30th minute, bringing on defender Yegor Syzonyuk. In the time leading up to the break, Kyiv managed to calm down a bit and seize the initiative. The ball even found its way into the Poltava goal net, but the referees ruled it offside.
Dynamo made two more substitutions during the break. The guests started the second half actively. Active Diallo broke through to Vorskla's penalty area several times on the left flank. But the goal came from the other side. Malysh passed to the right to Gusev, and he shot into the center, from where Zorenko sent the ball into the far corner with one touch - 3: 1.
In seven minutes, Dynamo reduced the deficit to a minimum. Once again, Zorenko scored, being in the right place at the right time after a series of ricochets from defenders and the goalkeeper and shooting the goal from close range after a Kyiv attack from the right flank, which was aggravated by Kremchanin.
In the 71st minute, Kremchanin himself hit the crossbar with a dangerous header after a cross from Diallo, but Domolega put the ball out for a corner. A few minutes later, Diallo made his next breakthrough into Vorskla's penalty area and ended it with a shot, after which the Poltava defender played with his hand. The referee awarded a penalty kick, which Kremchanin clearly converted, putting the ball and the goalkeeper in different corners.
"The White and Blues did not stop there and played to win. And in the 85th minute, they took the lead. Oleksiy Husyev broke through the halfway line with the ball, moving from his flank to the center and found Diallo in the opponent's penalty area. Samba did not adjust the ball under his right foot and scored with his left - right into the far corner - 3: 4!
Both teams finished the game with incomplete lineups after the suspensions of Shvets and Malysh. Already in stoppage time, the home team staged an attack on Dynamo's goal, but Kyiv withstood and won a phenomenal victory of will, winning back after 0:3 in the first half!
This comeback allowed Dynamo to close the gap with Rukh, who lost points in the game against Metalist 1925. Now, the main rivals in the fight for the championship are separated by 5 points with 6 rounds left in the season.
