Brighton coach Roberto De Zerbi commented on the 1-0 victory over Manchester United in the postponed match of the 28th round of the English Championship.
"I am very pleased with the team's performance and the result. This match demonstrated that the God of football exists. We deserved to win the semi-final, but we lost on penalties, and today we won thanks to penalties. In both games, I think we played better than Manchester United. The previous result was unfair," Sky Sports quoted De Zerbi as saying.
It will be recalled that Brighton recently lost to Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-finals in a penalty shootout (0-0, penalties 6-7).
