Cremonese claimed a convincing 2-0 victory over La Spezia at the Stadio Giovanni Zini in a Serie A match in which the home side dominated the second half. The Cremonese dominated the match in the first half, but it wasn't until the 41st minute that they managed to break through thanks to a D. Ciofani goal, giving their team the lead before the break. After the break, La Spezia took to the pitch with the desire to level the score, making three quick substitutions during the first 10 minutes.
However, it was the Cremonese who eventually sealed the victory with a goal from J. Vazquez in the 77th minute, effectively putting the match to bed for the visiting side. Six substitutions were made in the match, with Cremonese making two substitutions at the same time in the 65th minute and two more players towards the end of the game. Spice also made a trio of substitutions in an attempt to get back into the game. The game was not without fouls, with La Spezia receiving two yellow cards for the match. C. Agudelo received a yellow card in the 76th minute and E. Ampadu in the 79th. Overall, it was a dominant performance from Cremonese, who controlled most of the match and were able to capitalise on their chances to secure victory. Thanks to this result, Cremonese continue to gain good form in Serie A this season.
