In a Premier League football match, Zorya Luhansk hosted Metalist 1925 Kharkiv at the Dynamo Stadium. Valeriy Lobanovskiy. The match was not without yellow cards and substitutions, "Zorya" (Luhansk) got a yellow card in the 62nd minute for handball by R. Vantukh. Then, Zorya Luhansk made two more substitutions, replacing Oleg Khakhlev with N. Rusin and V. Pogoriliy with E. Gererer. Pogoriliy was replaced by Eduard Guerrero. Kharkiv Metalist 1925 also made a couple of substitutions: at the 70th minute D. Sidorenko came on instead of I. Potimkov, and at the 82nd minute D. Kravchenko substituted V. Sologub. With only a few minutes remaining before the end of the match, Zorya Luhansk made two more substitutions, with Dmytro Antyukha replacing P. Polegenko and S. Bulets instead of D. Nagnoynyy. However, the only event of those final minutes was a yellow card given to Zorya Luhansk player B. Butko in the 88th minute. The final score of 3-0 in Zorya's favour was a deserved win for the team who dominated throughout the match.
