Brighton and Everton recently met in a much-anticipated Premier League match at the American Express Community Stadium. The game was filled with exciting moments and Everton took the lead with a final score of 5-1. The first goal of the match was scored by Everton player A. Ducourt in the first minute of the game, setting the tone for the rest of the match. This was followed by a yellow card for Everton player I. Mina in the 18th minute and a yellow card for Brighton player L. Dunk in the 21st minute. Everton's I. Gueye also received a yellow card in the 25th minute before Ducure scored his second goal of the match in the 29th minute. Brighton failed, scoring an own goal by their own player J. Steele in the 35th minute, which led to Everton leading 3-0 at the break.
Calvert-Lewin received a yellow card in the 45th minute, adding to a string of incidents earlier in the first half. Brighton went into the second half in full force, making four substitutions as early as the first minute. They employed a more aggressive strategy, with D. Welbeck, E. Ferguson, F. Buonanotte and A. Webster coming on to try and change the outcome of the game. However, Everton quickly maintained their lead and in the 56th minute, Doucoure received another yellow card. It wasn't until the 79th minute that Brighton managed to score a goal, scored by A. Mc Allister, which galvanised the crowd. However, their euphoria was short-lived as Everton player D. McNeil scored the goals in the 76th and 90th minutes of the game. Throughout the match both teams played persistently and determinedly, but it was Everton who won the decisive victory with a final score of 1-5.
