Mauricio Pochettino, who may soon take over at Chelsea, is interested in Barcelona midfielder Xavi.
According to Diario Sport, the 51-year-old sees the Spaniard as a priority transfer and has already informed the Blues' management about it. The Londoners will be able to buy Xavi if Barca fails to register the player's contract in La Liga. The player himself wants to continue playing for the Catalan giants.
This season of the Spanish league, Xavi played 32 matches for the Blaugranas, scoring one goal and making three assists.
