Donetsk-based Shakhtar Donetsk will change the venue for their home European Cup games.
It should be recalled that this season, due to the war, the Pitmen hosted their international opponents in Warsaw at the local club Legia stadium. However, Shakhtar have to change their "home" city, because Legia will also play in the European competitions next season.
According to Meczyki.pl, in the European Cup season 2022/23, the Pitmen will likely play their home games in Gdansk at the Polsat Plus Arena, which was built especially for Euro 2012.
This stadium is a municipal one, but the local club Lechia play their home games there.
