The famous Ukrainian coach Myron Markevych shared his impressions of the Ukrainian championship of the current season and also replied to the question about which team will win the gold medal.
- It is clear that the level of the championship is weak at the moment, but it is good that it is being held at all. It has to be lived through. Let's hope that with time the level will rise.
I also thought that the youngsters would show up more and there would be some new stars, but that hasn't happened. It's a little frustrating.
- Who do you sympathize with from UPL teams in terms of game?
- Almost all teams are equal, "Lviv" falls out a bit. I do not see any progress and a clear leader.
- On points lost Dynamo vs Shakhtar. Who do you think will be the champion?
- Dnipro-1 have absolutely equal chances with Shakhtar to become the champion. I think the championship will be won by the one with more desire.
- Are there any players who have pleased you?
- I follow mostly youngsters. I am impressed by three Rukh players: Sliusar, Didyk and Sapuga. They are impressive, combative and have a good level of skill. I think they will play for the Ukraine national team in the future. I see them as serious prospects.
I can also mention Vanatay from Dynamo. He has all the qualities to become a good forward and solve the problem of Kyiv`s attacking for years.
- Are Slyusar, Didyk and Sapuga ready to move to a stronger team, for example, Shakhtar or Dynamo?
- I think they can easily play in those clubs and be among the best. For their progress it is necessary for the team to play, and "Rukh" suffers so far, not plays.
